Big cheese? This one is: delicious and creamy Philadelphia.
Who says cream cheese only goes on bread or, at very most, in your cheesecake? We think the same as the leading European brand in the cream cheese markett: you can do a lot more, an whole lot more, with cream cheese, starting by using it as an ingredient in great recipes.
It was our task to show Philadelphia's German, Italian, Spanish and British consumers just what they could do with the famous product. We started by developing an extensive digital strategy which could encompass flexible, country-specific approaches as well as facilitating the communication of a coherent, Europe-wide brand and product image. How did we do this? By using a modular system.
The different markets had a number of choices. Certain elements were fundamental to achieving the campaign's aim, such as an independent brand website which would act as a digital hub for all users and integrate features such as the new playful yet intuitive recipe search function. Other things the markets could opt for included the mobile recipe search, iPhiladelphia, which instantly became the third most-popular branded app in the iTunes Store, and the Facebook app Meet & Eat.
What was the final result? A lot of satisfaction - for our customers, for us and for consumers alike.
